How Your Donation Will Be Used

The NVVAM welcomes donations of every size. Our goal of $2,000,000 may seem high but not unattainable for those who, like us, wish to see the mission of the Museum continue to benefit veterans and artists of all wars.

Your donation will be used to:
  • Increase staff
  • Hire an executive director
  • Expand Museum outreach and increase worldwide presence
  • Make essential building repairs (new roof, removal of mold)
  • Meet current monthly operational expenses of nearly $32,000 ($384,000 a year)
  • Erase past debt
  • Begin an investment fund for long term operational and capital costs
  • Expand education programs
  • Enhance and grow the number of exhibits
  • Develop more traveling exhibits to take our message to the country and globally
  • Introduce new and emerging artists, especially Iraq War veterans
  • Enhance Museum support of troops and veterans organizations and increase involvement
  • Increase support of war veteran artists (grants and scholarships)
  • Enhance special events – The Awareness Motorcycle Run and
  • Above and Beyond Patriot Award
  • Secure the future of the Museum for all veterans and those whose artwork is displayed in this one-of-a-kind museum.
