While the stigma attached to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder continues, veterans around the country have found a way to let the healing process beginthrough making art. Although many veterans with PTSD may never recover, creating art has provided a chance for some of the Veterans who suffer from PTSD to express the joy, pain, fear and devastation that defined their Vietnam experiences, becoming an outlet for their inner voices. The artistic process alone has been an essential ingredient in the recipe for improved mental health and spiritual nourishment, something they never had before.
